TO APPEAR ON WILLIE NELSON'S LUCK, TEXAS STAGE Maryann Price will portray two Classic Western Female Vocalists in a benefit musical extravaganza at Willie Nelson's fictitious Wild West town of Luck, Texas. Price was particularly pleased to be chosen for this project and at the prospect of working again with Willie Nelson. The musical, under the direction of Actor/Writer Joe Sears, (Pearl Production, Inc. and Gracey Rhodes Production, Inc. producers) brings together a cast which reads like a Who's Who of Country Music including Kimmie Rhodes, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and Joe Ely, to name a few. "Hillbilly Heaven" premiers Friday, February 26th for a three-day private benefit engagement where the songstress will perform Patsy Montana's 1935 million selling single "I Want to be a Cowboy's Sweetheart"; and, the "Queen of Country", Kitty Wells' "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels." "The musical production is just one of
many charity benefits Mr. Nelson hosts each year," explained Price.
She said "benefit productions, such as these, enable us to touch the lives
of those whose needs are immediate. I'm proud of our efforts to make
this benefit possible and I applaud those who help make it a reality."
